Finding Strength When Life Gets Hard
Life is filled with both light and dark moments, and while we cannot always control what happens, we can control how we respond. The first thing that usually gets affected during challenges is our emotions. When we feel hurt, angry, or overwhelmed, our thinking becomes clouded, and in that state, we often make poor decisions. That is why it is important to pause, take a breath, and let our emotions settle before we respond. A calm mind has the power to see things clearly, and only from that place can we make wise decisions. Resilience is built on mindset. Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?”, remind yourself, “I can handle this.
